New tech for runners, could it be a leap forward for managing running injury?

A new blog entry by Tom Goom out today on the topic of using wearable technology to manage running injuries.

This is a very interesting topic and I really enjoyed reading the article. I have not used a lot of the technologies mentioned in the blog post much, but it’s exciting to hear about their potential to help runners in variety of ways. The ability to measure loading rates and GRF is pretty cool, as well as new software systems to help runners manage their training load, which is one of the most important factor in running injury risks.

Thanks to Tom Goom and Rich Willy for putting up Rich’s article for public access, there’s a link in the blog post, and it’s up free for 50 days.
